“요한계시록 18장은 계시록 14장 6절로 12절의 삼중 경고를 거절한 결과로 교회가 둘째 천사가 예언한 상태에 빠졌을 때, 아직도 바벨론 가운데 남아 있는 하나님의 백성을 향하여 그 가운데서 나오라는 초청이 주어질 시기를 지적하고 있다. 그 기별은 이 세상에 전해질 최후의 기별이며, 그것으로써 그 사업이 마쳐질 것이다.”-각 시대의 대쟁투, 390. (Revelation 18 points to the time when, as the result of rejecting the threefold warning of Rev. 14:6-12, the church will have fully reached the condition foretold by the second angel, and the people of God, still in Babylon, will be called upon to separate from her communion. This message is the last that will ever be given to the world; and it will accomplish its work., GC 390)
“그러나 하나님께서는 바벨론 가운데 한 백성을 가지고 계신다. 그러므로 하나님의 심판이 내리기 전에 그 충성된 자들은 “그의 죄에 참여하지 말고 그의 받을 재앙들을 받지 말”(계 18:5, 4)도록 불러냄을 받아야 한다. 그리하여 하늘에서 내려오는 천사로 표상된 운동은 그의 영광으로 땅을 환하게 비추고 큰 음성으로 외치면서 바벨론의 죄를 지적하고 있다. 이 천사의 기별과 관련하여 “내 백성아 거기서 나”오라는 음성이 들린다. 이 선포는 셋째 천사의 기별과 함께 땅위의 주민에게 주어져야 할 마지막 경고가 된다.”-각 시대의 대쟁투, 604. (But God still has a people in Babylon; and before the visitation of his judgments, these faithful ones must be called out, that they "partake not of her sins, and receive not of her plagues." Hence the movement symbolized by the angel coming down from Heaven, lightening the earth with his glory, and crying mightily with a strong voice, announcing the sins of Babylon. In connection with his message the call is heard, "Come out of her, my people." These announcements, uniting with the third angel's message, constitute the final warning to be given to the inhabitants of the earth., GC 604)
